I’m Dr. Shauntelle Bonman Senkungu, a native of Los Angeles, CA. At the age of 7, I initially aspired to become a physician. I was inspired by the intricate process of life’s development in the womb as I stood by my pregnant mother’s side. I was also awestruck by the intimacy of the doctor-patient relationship. Tragically, my mother’s health deteriorated and I was motivated by my mother’s illness to become a compassionate, patient advocate and healer.

I graduated high school from the prestigious Chadwick school and completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana. I then obtained a doctorate medical degree at Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific followed by completion of the University of Southern California’s (USC) Family Medicine residency program. I’m board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and have extensive training in obstetrics and inpatient medicine.

Beyond medicine, my life has been greatly enriched by my husband and three sons and relationship with the Lord. I enjoy sports, gardening, home decorating, thrift shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

I have practiced in a variety of settings including clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, personal homes, professional workplaces, emergency departments, and urgent care units. It is with great pleasure that I now extend my services to individuals and entire families within Collin County Texas.
